We have to remember that misbehaving garage doors can occur because spider webs are blocking the electric eye sensors for the garage door. "I contacted three companies about my garage door opener which was making noises. The first asked for pictures, told me that it was too old to fix and it would cost between x and y to replace. They cancelled their appointment because the technician fell ill. The second was Sun Ray who also told me that the unit would not be able to be repaired, but gave me information on two units to consider for replacement (within a similar price range). The third came in and tried to see me a replacement for twice what the other two proposed.
